How is the price of diamond jewellery determined?

The diamond has several characteristics that determine its quality and value.

By comparing our products with other stores, some people new to it might think that for an equivalent product, the price difference may not appear evidently. Our prices are cheaper, locally, with equal and comparable quality. If you find a cheaper price, we advise you to inquire about the quality of this product and its certificate.

What is the source of the Gahlan diamonds?

At Gahlan, we look for ideal stones throughout the world.

Like any other worldwide diamond industry Gahlan has a zero tolerance policy on diamonds from conflicts or inhuman procedures. Measures such as the Kimberley Process (that tracks a diamond from the mine to the point of sale), the industry in partnership with the United Nations, governments and non-governmental organizations contribute to the verification of diamond exports to prevent trade in illegal diamonds.

All of our suppliers proudly adhere and impose strict standards established by the Kimberley process, which allows us to ensure our clients with diamonds which do not result from conflicts. In the event that one of our vendors violated this process, we would immediately end our professional relationship with the latter.

We support and encourage all effective processes for maintaining equity in the diamond trade.

Does Gahlan sell synthetic diamonds?

No. At Gahlan we only use natural stones without any form of treatment.

We also refuse to provide synthetic stones to our customers.

All our stones are completely natural and guaranteed by the GIA gemological laboratory.

What metal does Gahlan use for its jewelry?

At Gahlan, all our jewels are in 18K gold (with exceptions). It is important to have an equal quality of metal to the quality of stones we use.

Customers can of course choose the gold color they want for their jewelry.

Are Gahlan products guaranteed?

Yes. At Gahlan, we make a point of honor on the quality of our jewelry that is why all our products have a two-year manufacturing warranty.


How long to process my order?

If all the information requested during the order is complete and clear, the order is processed upon receipt of payment, namely the same day.

You will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your order and is in treatment.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order within 7 days following the validation of the order.

Do I need to register to place an order?

Yes, new GDPR regulations prohibit anonymous sales. We do not use customer email addresses for any ongoing sales or marketing purposes other than the confirmation emails regarding your purchases. For more information please review our Privacy Policy.

What if my online payment fails?

You can still use our other means of payments or visit our shop to finalize your order.

What are the delivery methods?

We use secure carriers such as La Poste, FedEx, DHL or UPS depending on the destination country and the amount of your order. During the trip, your goods are insured up to delivery.

To protect certain orders of a certain amount and to secure you, we reserve the right to seek a company specialized in merchandise protection to deliver to you. Of course, we will notify you upon confirmation of your order.

Can I track my package?

Yes, once the order is confirmed and your jewelry is done, you will receive an email from us informing you of the shipment of your order with the tracking number.

You can therefore know at any time where it is located. If you have lost this tracking number, we will give you another one at your request.

What is the delivery time?

The delivery time is three to four  weeks. This is a maximum, a product can be received before the deadline.


Can I return or exchange a product?

All items can be returned within thirty days if they are in their original condition, unworn and accompanied by all supporting documents.

Please note that engraved products are not exchangeable.

What delivery method to choose for returns?

You can choose the carrier of your choice, but we advise you to insure the return delivery as we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the shipping process.

It is also possible to return products directly at our store located at Rue Verdaine 1, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland.

How will I be reimbursed?

The refund will be done by a credit on the same means of payment used for your purchase on our website or by bank transfer.
